The CEAS Human Resources Department provides guidance to CEAS Business Units on proper implementation of personnel policies. We serve as an advocate for the College and the link between Central HR and the Provost Business Office. Our office also provides administrative services to the College's administrative units.
Employee Self-Service Access
Effective February 7, 2014, off campus access to the UC Flex Employee Self Service will require employees to log into the UC network using the VPN. This change will better secure employee's personal information.
Employees are provided with a VPN Account utilizing Central Log-in Credentials at the time of hire therefore it is readily accessible.
-UC FLSA 2016 Rule Update Information-
The Department of Labor (DOL) announced changes in May to the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) that may affect the status of Exempt employees who fall below the Exempt status salary threshold of $47,476 a year. Due to this ruling, positions that fall below the required salary threshold of $47,476 per year may be reclassified to Non-Exempt status, and will be eligible for overtime pay for any hour worked over the 40 hour maximum.
