Biography

Whitney Gaskins holds a PhD in Biomedical Engineering (2014), a Master of Science in Quantitative Analysis (2010) and a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering (2008) all from the University of Cincinnati.

Gaskins has served as a reviewer for multiple professional conferences, as well as served in many leadership roles. In 2009, she founded The Gaskins Foundation, a non-profit organization whose mission is to educate and empower the African American community. Gaskins has been actively involved in the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) since 2003. Along with her scholastic achievement, Gaskins has worked as an engineering professional for companies including General Electric, Atricure, and Toyota.
