Whitney Gaskins, Ph.D., assistant dean of inclusive excellence and community engagement for the College of Engineering and Applied Science, was featured in the Society of Women Engineers (SWE) Magazine, in an ongoing series titled, “Women Engineers You Should Know.”

Gaskins, a three-time University of Cincinnati graduate and passionate community activist, was honored in the April 2018 issue of SWE Magazine.

To compile the list of candidates, SWE Magazine reached out on their social media channels in late 2017, asking followers, “Who are the women engineers we should know?” The series aims “to highlight the women engineers of whom we might not otherwise be aware, who may be working behind the scenes or out of the limelight and making meaningful contributions in the workplace, in our communities, and in the world.”
