Chemistry World, the magazine of the Royal Society of Chemistry in the United Kingdom features an interview with UC Environmental Engineering professor, Dr. Dion Dionysiou in the July 2011 issue.
Dr. Dionysiou teaches and does research in the Center of Sustainable Urban Engineering within UC's College of Engineering and Applied Science's School of Energy, Environmental, Biological, and Medical Engineering.
The center's principal areas of concentration include drinking water, water supply, quality, and treatment. To facilitate this research the school maintains environmental nanotechnology laboratories as well as traditional "wet" labs to further its leading position in environmental engineering and science.
