Researchers producing big data and small data face unique challenges in data management, data sharing, reproducible research and preservation. This daylong event will highlight these challenges and showcase opportunities for all researchers. This event promises to engage audience members, reveal solutions to these data challenges and foster a community of best practices around improved data management.
UC received the 2018 Higher Education Excellence in Diversity award (HEED). UC was also named a 2018 Diversity Champion by Insight Into Diversity—one of only 10 universities named to both lists.
Since 2012, UC has been recognized among the top colleges and universities that "demonstrate an outstanding commitment to diversity and inclusion." View Insight's 2018 list of top colleges for diversity.
UC has been a Diversity Champion in 2017. Institutions are selected from the top tier of Higher Education Excellence in Diversity (HEED) Award recipients. "Known for visionary leadership, Diversity Champions are institutions that set the standard for thousands of other campus communities striving for diversity and inclusion," Insight explains on its site.
