2020 Women of Color Summer Engineering Camp

Discover the Possibilities—Become an Engineer

Date: July 20, 2020 – July 24, 2020  9:00 am to 3:00 pm

Do you aspire to have a career that directly helps you change the world? Would you like to understand how you can use your strengths and talents to make an impact?

The Women of Color Summer Engineering Camp brings together rising 9th grade through rising 12th grade women of diverse racial backgrounds to spend a week at the College of Engineering and Applied Science.

  • learning about engineering fields and opportunities
  • engaging with female engineers
  • touring local corporations
  • enjoying hands-on activities in state of the art labs

All while having fun, as students discover how their talents can help change the world! 

Our Women of Color Summer Engineering Camp is a day camp, however on campus housing options are available (for a fee) if you are traveling a long distance. Students will share a room with other camp participants. Trained residence counselors will supervise the students.
