Students are required to apply to both the University of Cincinnati and the University of Bordeaux. Students will be awarded the Master of Engineering degree in Aerospace Engineering from UC and a Postgraduate Diploma from the University of Bordeaux.

To apply at UC please go to  Create an account and complete the application. Here, you will be asked to specify the program you are applying to, supply information such as GRE score and TOEFL (if needed), and have your references supply their recommendations.  At the end of this step you will be asked to pay the application fee. You will be applying for the Master of Engineering (MEng) in Aerospace Engineering.

The University application processing fee is $80.00 and can be made via credit card or electronic check as part of the online application.

Students will be at UC for the fall semester – applications for fall typically open on October 1 and are typically due by January 15. 

All students that complete their application by January 15 will be considered for financial aid.  There is not a separate application for financial aid and assistantships, all applicants are considered as part of the application.  Our final deadline is March 31, with your supporting documentation arriving no later than April 15.

Required Tests


All International students are required to take GRE.  The Graduate Record Exam (GRE) is not a requirement for any student that graduates from a U.S. ABET accredited institution.    The GRE institution code is 1833, a department code is not needed.  For GRE online resources, visit their web site at:
