High School Seniors

We review all information on your Common Application. However, at minimum, reviewers are looking for:

  • Three credits of Science with Chemistry and Physics included
  • Four credits of Math with Pre-Calculus included at a minimum
  • One letter of recommendation, preferably from a math, science, or engineering teacher

  • Average admitted student has a 3.7 GPA (unweighted)
  • ACT: middle 50% of admitted Engineering & Applied Science students: 26-31
  • SAT: middle 50% of admitted Engineering & Applied Science students: 1160-1370

  • Admission priority and scholarship consideration based on strict December 1 deadline

  • Additional preferred qualifications though not required:
    • STEM and non-STEM based organizational involvement
    • Advanced, honors, Advanced Placement classes
    • Part-time job experiences, leadership positions, community service, demonstration of interest in engineering
