The Intelligent Ground Viehicle Competition (IGVC for short) is the flagship competition that the robotics team participates in. The competition is held every year at Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan in June. Robots that participate in the competition must be able to autonomously navigate the course and also hit GPS waypoints while maintaining a speed of at least 1 mile per hour. Please visit the IGVC Website for more information.

The Robot

Currently, the robotics team brings Dokalman to the competition. Dokalman has a custom built frame and body that was designed and fabricated in-house. Dokalman currently runs on the Robot Operating System. If this sounds interesting, be sure to visit us at 7:15 in Baldwin 551!
