Summer Institute for Teachers

SIT

The Summer Institute for Teachers (SIT) is an opportunity for middle school and high school teachers to learn to use engineering as a context to teach math and science.  For seven weeks for two consecutive summers, in-service teachers will take engineering and content courses and participate in professional development that will help them apply what they have learned to their course content.  SIT teachers will receive additional support during the academic year as they implement challenge-based learning and engineering design units.
