- Register for Bearcats Bound Orientation: Secure your spot by signing up promptly.
- Complete the Math Placement Test: This assessment helps place you in the appropriate math courses. Aim for a score of 750 or above to qualify for Calculus 1.
- Review Laptop Requirements: Ensure your device meets CEAS specifications to support your coursework.
- Set Up Your UC Email: Activate your university email account to receive important communications.
- Monitor Your Catalyst To-Do List: Stay updated on tasks and deadlines through the Catalyst portal.

Get Involved
Getting involved in student organizations is one of the best ways to experience the College of Engineering and Applied Science. With more than 600 student organizations across UC, including 60 organizations calling CEAS home, there is something for all majors and individuals. As a first-year student, one of the best and easiest ways to meet people is through an organization.
