CEAS New Graduate Student Orientation

Friday, August 15, 2025, 12:00-4:00 p.m.
Pizza lunch will be served in the Great Hall (4th floor) of Tangeman University Center starting at noon.

Tentative agenda:

• 12:00 p.m.: Lunch served
• 12:30-1:30 p.m.: General orientation for all new CEAS masters (MS and MEng) and PhD students starting their programs in fall 2025.
• 1:45 p.m.:  Students will break up into groups by department and go to rooms assigned.  
• 2:00-4:00 p.m.: Department orientations: room assignments will be distributed by email closer to date and will be announced at general orientation

Important note: The pizza lunch is for new CEAS graduate students only. Current students are not invited due to space concerns, the time it takes to distribute pizza, and limited food availability. If there is leftover pizza, we will send out a notice over email to current students.
