Summer Camps
Get ready to learn, play, explore, and innovate! Join us for 2026 Summer Engineering Camps at the University of Cincinnati.
All camps take place 9am-4pm on the Clifton Campus and are organized by age and interest level. Scholarships may be available for those who require financial assistance.
Applications open February 1, 2026 and close March 31, 2026. All applicants will be notified of their acceptance status on April 15. Acceptance is not based on ability to pay, and filling out an application does not guarantee admission. Submissions will be thoroughly reviewed by a team of employees using a rubric measuring a variety of factors.
Thank you for your interest in 2026 summer camps at UC's College of Engineering and Applied Science. We are thrilled you are considering us in your summer plans.
Camps will take place on the Uptown (Clifton) campus. Please note that camps are daytime only.
All camps have a mandatory application process that is open Feb 1st - March 31st. Applications are graded on a rubric and contain a written essay, a video essay, and self-reporting of grades. CEAS camp applications require an additional letter of recommendation from a teacher or mentor. Acceptance status will be shared on April 15th, 2026, with payment and paperwork to be completed by May 22, 2026. Young/Rising Engineers camps are exploratory and cover a variety of engineering fields/topics. CEAS camps dive deeply into two or three engineering programs. There is no difference between the two weeks of CEAS Mechanical/Aerospace camp, the same camp will be offered both weeks.
Applications are open February 1 to March 31. All materials must be submitted by March 31 to be considered.

Frequently Asked Questions:
- How long is a camp day?
- Camp runs from 9am to 4pm every day. Drop off opens at 8:30am, pick up closes at 4:30pm. At this time, we do not have overnight or residential options.
- Do you offer scholarships?
- Limited scholarships are available. A separate scholarship application will be sent following acceptance to camp.
- Is the price per week or per day?
- Prices listed are per week and cover all material and instructional costs.
- What does a typical day look like?
- Each day is unique! The week prior to camp, a full, minute-to-minute schedule will be shared with students and guardians. We don’t release full details ahead of time as camp is a living, breathing thing and schedules can change (and do change) frequently leading up to the event due to the volume and variety of people we work with: faculty, non-academic departments, industry partners, speakers, and more. But a typical day consists of an ice-breaker welcome, a visit to a lab or company, a session with a UC professor explaining their research, a hands-on activity, and time to complete a capstone project.
- What is the capstone project?
- Each week of camp includes a capstone showcase at 2:00 on the Friday of camp. This is open for family and friends of campers, as well as partner affiliates such as faculty and industry representatives, to show what students have learned and found value during their time at camp. It is low pressure and there is no competitive element. Students that have family attend are welcome to leave with their families at the conclusion of the event (typically 60-90 minutes), otherwise we dismiss at the normal 4:00 time.
- What are lunch options?
- Meals must be brought from home. Lunches will not be provided or available for purchase.
- How many camps can my child attend?
- Students can apply for as many camps as they would like, but to serve as many students as possible, they can only attend one week. If they are accepted to multiple camps, they will be asked to select their top choice.
- Is this a college course?
- While informational, these are week-long camps and should be viewed as a fun and engaging non-academic experience. No college credit will be earned or given.
