CyberCorps Scholarship for Service

About the Scholarship

To be eligible for consideration for the SFS scholarship, the student must meet all of the following requirements:

United States citizen or lawful permanent resident;
- If you are a permanent resident, you must have a clear plan of obtaining United States citizenship before graduation;
Meet selection criteria for United States federal employment;
- Applicants should be eligible for a Security Clearance
Applicants must meet the following GPA requirements:
- 3.0+ for undergraduate applicants; or
- 3.4+ for graduate applicants;
Current or prospective students in the following degree programs at the University of Cincinnati:
- School of Information Technology (CECH)
  - B.S. in Cybersecurity (only open to rising junior students)
  - M.S. in Information Technology
  - Ph.D. in Information Technology
- Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (CEAS)
  - B.S. in Computer Engineering
  - B.S. in Computer Science
  - B.S. in Electrical Engineering
  - B.S. in Electrical Engineering Technology
  - Master of Engineering (MEng) in Computer Engineering
