Online Certificate in Fire Administration

As the complexity of emergency response, fire prevention, and emergency services management increases, there is a significant demand for professionals who possess advanced knowledge in these areas. The Online Certificate in Fire Administration program is designed to equip students with the knowledge and leadership skills to address challenges, preparing them for careers in leadership roles within the fire industry.

The integration of management and leadership training, covering topics such as organizational behavior, human resources, finance, and public administration, equips students with the skills necessary to manage fire departments and other emergency services organizations effectively. This fire administration certificate is advantageous for those interested in administrative roles such as company or chief officers, where advanced emergency management skills are a must.

NOTE: The Fire Science program, starting Fall 2025, is moving to UC's College of Cooperative Education & Professional Studies - Fire Administration Track, Bachelor of Arts in Professional Studies.  Contact Academic Advisor Amy Scuglik.
