PDCI offers faculty, staff and students the opportunity to engage in professional development workshops and activities. The offerings are designed to provide insight, and spur learning to enhance individual and professional growth.  


Lunch and Learn with Industry

This lunchtime learning series connects industry and students. Professionals will share their insights and discuss topics such as career experiences, co-op opportunities, industry trends, and interviewing advice. Lunch provided.

Professional Development Series

This virtual enrichment series is designed to provide faculty, staff, and students with active learning opportunities to advance their knowledge and build applicable skills on various topics.

Date: Third Friday of each month  

Time: 10:00 am – 11:00 am

Distinguished Lecture Series

Join us for an inspirational fall and spring Distinguished Lecture Series. This program  is an opportunity for an engineer or scientist to share their personal, academic and career experiences with students, faculty and staff. The lecture is designed in a “Ted-X” type style and invites guests to engage with the presenter through Q&A. Light refreshments provided.
