Our computer science programs help students learn how to harness technology to solve problems and improve and modernize the future. As a Computer Science student, you will gain the skills to design and develop technology that can make an impact for all.
Computer Scientists design and build computational information processing systems. They develop software, algorithms, data management, and analysis systems. From pacemakers to race cars, these systems are used in all aspects of society.

This spring, senior students at the University of Cincinnati's College of Engineering and Applied Science came together to present their final capstone projects at the third annual CEAS Expo. College faculty, staff, alumni and industry professionals attended the event to witness the innovation that is created at CEAS.

Two University of Cincinnati students gave themselves just 30 minutes to come up with an idea for a startup business. Not only did they succeed, their idea has won multiple pitch competitions in the past year. Joe Kuncheria Panjikaran and Aniruddhan Ramesh are the founders of PhizzIO (pronounced “fizz-e-oh”), a startup that’s creating a business-to-business solution to improve physical therapy.
